About Us

ICES is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the sugar arts.  Members include a wide variety of sugar artists, ranging from hobbyists and home bakers to professional cake decorators, caterers, and exhibitors.  Our masterpieces are as small as gum paste roses or as large as wedding cakes; from a tiny, perfect rose made from sugar to the towering sculptures you've seen on televised competitions.

Virginia ICES members come from all over our beautiful state, gathering together several times a year at “Day of Sharing” events, as well as attending the annual ICES convention.  In between, we share our love of sugar art online and through our newsletters.
